After the file is complete.
You run the closing. Instructions, settlement, title work, lien searches, filing — that architecture is yours, and VerifyShield changes none of it. We enter after funding and execution, creating an independent integrity record of the completed closing file.
We enter at one point — after funding and execution.
One step, after execution. Nothing moved, nothing replaced.
The sequence is unchanged: instructions are satisfied, funds move, documents are executed, and the filing package goes to the FAA on your timeline, under your authority. VerifyShield's step happens once the file is complete: the executed documents are anchored — each receives a Digital Fingerprint recorded permanently to a distributed consensus network — and a Certificate of Integrity is issued to the parties.

VerifyShield never takes possession of the documents. The fingerprint is generated and the source file is discarded; nothing in your document custody or delivery obligations changes.
The window you already manage.
Between execution and FAA recording sits a processing window every closing professional knows — days to weeks in which the executed file exists but the public record does not yet reflect it. Our publication, the Aviation Registry Report, examines this window — the Digital Dark Window — at the structural level. For the closing team, the practical point is narrower: the Anchor fixes what the executed file was at the Zero-Hour, independently of how long the public record takes to speak.
Cures, on the record.
If the FAA or the lender requires corrections to closing documents, VerifyShield performs a Chain Extension: a Supplemental Anchor is created for the corrected document, linked cryptographically to the original Zero-Hour Anchor. The original record is never overwritten.
The result is a complete Forensic Chain of Custody showing both the initial submission and the cure — transparent evidence of the document lifecycle rather than a hidden correction.
What does not change.
VerifyShield does not alter escrow instructions, settlement authority, title review, lien searches, filing priority, legal determinations, or any escrow or title workflow. We do not perform title research and we are not a substitute for title insurance. We make no comparison between our service and any firm's processes — the closing remains yours.
What we add is one thing: an independent, permanent integrity record of the file you completed.
