Our Commitment to Accessibility
VerifyShield Technologies, LLC is committed to making verifyshield.aero (the "Site") accessible to as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies.
Our commitment
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the widely recognized standard for web accessibility. We treat accessibility as part of building a professional, institutional resource, not an afterthought.
Conformance status
The Site has been designed with accessibility in mind but has not yet undergone a formal third-party accessibility audit. We therefore describe our status as partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA: most of the Site meets the standard, and we are actively working to identify and resolve any areas that do not. We will update this statement as our assessment progresses.
Measures we have taken
Our design choices support accessibility in several ways:
- A content-first, text-forward design with minimal reliance on imagery, which is inherently friendlier to screen readers and to readers who magnify content.
- Semantic structure — headings, landmarks, and lists used in a logical reading order.
- Keyboard navigability — interactive elements reachable and operable without a mouse.
- Readable typography and color contrast — body and heading text intended to meet AA contrast ratios against the dark institutional palette.
- Responsive layout that adapts to different screen sizes and zoom levels.
- Descriptive link text rather than "click here."
Known limitations
We want to be candid about areas we are still improving:
- The Site has not yet been validated end-to-end with screen readers and automated accessibility tools; some issues may remain until that review is complete.
- Any decorative or informational images should carry appropriate text alternatives; we are reviewing all image and icon alt text.
- Interactive components (such as the contact form and the certificate-verification tool) will be reviewed for full keyboard operability and clear labels and error messaging as they are activated.
If you encounter a barrier not listed here, please tell us (see below) — your feedback directly improves the Site.
Compatibility
The Site is intended to work with recent versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and with common assistive technologies. It may not perform optimally on older or unsupported browsers.

Ongoing effort
